Stretch both arms out in front of you. Keep your right arm straight and use your left hand to pull back your index finger towards your forearm. Take a deep breath. Stretch your middle finger, then ring finger, and pinky. Complete the same stretches on your left hand fingers. This will stretch all of your fingers and make them more flexible. Hold each stretch for five seconds and repeat five times.

Fist Stretch:Stretch both hands out as if you are showing someone the number ten with your hands. Stretch your fingers and thumb apart from each other as much as you can. Count to five. Now make fists with your hands and tighten them as much as you can. Repeat five times.

Thumb Stretch:With your hands out put your thumbs into the palm of your hands. Keep your fingers outstretched. Hold for five seconds. Stretch your thumbs out for five seconds. Repeat five times.

Palm Stretch:Put your palms and fingers together. Lift up your elbows so that your forearms are parallel to the floor. Now push your hands downward. You should feel the stretch in your wrists and forearms.

Stretch Often:Stretch your hands every two hours for at least five minutes each time. Stretching is important to reduce any strains, cramping, and soreness that can lead to more severe problems in the future.

It is said that the hands tell you how old a woman is. No matter how old you are, your hands tell an observer a lot about yourself as a person. Dressing up in fancy clothes is of no use if you do not take care of your hands and feet. While speaking or communicating with others you use your hands to express yourself, emphasize a point etc. Hands play an important role in communication. Imagine what life would be like without your hands.

It is a part of the body that you use the most, you cook with them, get dressed with them, write with them, empathize with them and shake others hands when you meet them. Take good care of your hands and treat them well as they are essential for your existence.

Here are few hand care tips:

The skin on your hand is thin and delicate; therefore take special care of them.

Moisturize your hands at least four times a day.

Use your face exfoliator on your hands once a week.

Once a week apply your face cream on to your hands before you go to bed.

For dry hands after washing your hands with soap, wet them again. Pour salt on your hands and then scrub them under water. Dry hands and apply moisturizer on them.

For greasy hands, after washing your hands rub cornmeal on them.

Wear rubber gloves while working at home and in the garden.

Protect and prevent your hands from aging and abuse.

Protect your hands from the ravages of changing weather.

Protect your hands while working in the sun.

The best way to take care of your hands is to protect them on a daily basis.

The condition of the hands depends on the care you give them. The skin on the back of the hands is soft and thin and prone to early wrinkling. Whereas the skin on the palm is thick and tough. The palm has no sebaceous glands, thus no natural lubrication thus they can become dry and rough.

(1) After your bath or any washing , always massage your hands with a lubricating cream. In fact, barrier creams should always be used when tackling particularly dirty and greasy jobs.

(2) Get into the habit of giving yourself a weekly manicure, which will make your hands look good along with helping them to combat annoying problems like chipping, splitting, peeling and cracking.

(3) If your nails persistently split and chip, then they probably need strengthening by regular use of one of the many nail hardeners in the market.

Exercising the hands can help to make them flexible and improve circulation. Try performing these exercise at least 6-10 times a day.

(a) Clench your fists tightly for a second and then throw open the fingers as wide as possible.

(b) Place hands in front of you, palm down. Press the fingers tightly against each other and then thrust them apart as widely as possible.

(c) Allow the hands to be limp and relaxed. Then rotate them from the wrist in circles, first clockwise and then anticlockwise.

You can give an instant refresh treatment to your hands at home by soaking your dry hands in warm olive oil. Fill a teacup with the warmed oil, dip in your fingers and let them soak for a few minutes. When you remove them rub the oil into your hands and allow as much of it as possible to be absorbed before rinsing away the excess. Alternatively, you can smother your hands with rich cold creams.

(4) Every night, before bedtime, massage your hands with a cream for few minutes.

Here are a few ways in which you can take care of the skin of your hand.

Moisturize your hands as many times as you can in a day. Dry skin looks wrinkled and can easily be damaged.

Wear gloves while washing dishes, dealing with chemicals and while gardening.

Protect the skin on your hands from the sun.

Ensure that your hands are dry. If you have water on your hands it will evaporate drying your skin.

Take special care of your hands once a week. Give your hands a herbal oil massage once a week.

Here are a few hand treatment ideas:

Herbal Hand Bath: Boil one quarter of water and add one tablespoon of herbs (use one or all of these: chamomile, nettle, sage, coltsfoot, calendula). Let this mixture cool and soak your hands in it for 15-20 minutes. Dry your hands thoroughly and apply nourishing moisturizer.

Homemade Nourishing Hand Cream: Mix one teaspoon of honey with 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Add one tablespoon of strong herbal mixture. This will make a very rich cream, that will take a while to absorb, but will make your hands soft and smooth.

For dry skin: Mix one tablespoon glycerin, one egg yolk, two tablespoons of vegetable oil, juice of one lemon, 3 to 4 ounces of herbal infusion or rose water. Apply this once or twice a week.

Mashed potatoes with milk make a great hand mask.

After cooking with eggs, before you throw the eggshells away, scrape out the remaining egg white and massage it into your hands.

Rub a piece of lemon on your hands to give your skin a more even tone.

After washing dishes with detergents wash your hands with sour milk or with a vinegar and water solution (1 tablespoon of vinegar per 2quaters of water). This will restore the pH balance of the skin.

Keep your hands warm as colds often start as a result of cold hands.

For an emergency treatment for coarse, rough skin, apply cream lavishly at bed time and go to sleep with cotton gloves on.

Do-It-Yourself Manicure

Are your nails uneven, nail polish chipped and your hands dry and flaky. Then it is probably time to give yourself a Do-It-Yourself Manicure. This great guide will help you get your hands and nails in Tip Top shape.

1. Remove any nail polish with an acetone-free nail polish remover, and gently file your nails into shape. Only file in one direction – don’t saw back and forth. You may also like to buff your nails to remove ridges and give a shine to your nails, but don’t do this too often as it thins and weakens the nails.
2. Exfoliate your hands with a body scrub. Massage the scrub mixture all over your hands, then rinse well.
4. Slather on some hand cream, massaging it well into the skin.
5. Massage some of the hand cream into your cuticles, then very gently push them back with a cuticle stick wrapped in a tissue.

6. Remove any excess cream from your nails with some nail polish remover, then apply a base coat (such as Christina Fitzgerald “Ruth” or OPI Start to Finish) or nail strengthener (such as OPI Nail Envy or Qtica Natural Nail Growth Stimulator) . Base coats protect your nails from staining, and nail strengtheners help to harden nails and encourage growth.

7. Apply two to three coats of your chosen nail polish, then a top coat Make sure you allow at least an hour for your nails to dry, otherwise you’ll get smudges or dents in the polish. If you’re in a hurry, apply OPI Drip Dry Drops for faster drying.

Midsummer Night Nail Color

You know how some women mix nails colors for a whole new color? Well, far fetched and as immature as it might sound, try it!! Some nail colors have different ingredients in them to make that certain shade and do not blend well. Let each coat dry. If you use a nail color that has glitter in it be sure to put a color that has no glitter on first because the glitter will not show up,just a lot of bumpy stuff under your polish.

It is not a good idea to mix two glitter shades together either. This will cause too much glitter and will just result in a big gloppy mess. There is a reason why they only put a certain amount of glitter in each bottle. Plus it will be harder to take off later when you want to change shades. I recommend if you have never tried this color mixing before that you try it with the least expensive nail colors first. The kind that you can buy a lot of at one time. Then after you’ve practiced in your spare time,or on a day off,you can go back to your preferred nail color and get the colors that you know will work. Remember,as before,it is not a good idea to mix nail colors in the same bottle. You may wind up with a nice colored goop instead of a new nail color.

Care for hands and nails

Nails are considered an imperative part to add beauty on your hands. Nails that are formed by hard protein are called Keratin. Nails grow sooner during definite hormonal varying periods, than at the beginning of the pregnancy or shortly prior to Menstruation. The nails lend a hand to look after the ends of the fingers along with the toes against trauma and let us help to waive small articles. If healthy, they are to a high degree steady to tearing up or breaking. However lack can form into the diet nails inflexibly. Hands are the most evident parts of you; however they take also much abuse. French Manicure is the only the type of Manicure, in which the points of the nails are pure white. This is a view, which is very well accepted for the reason that it forms your nail view healthy and cleanly. It is usable for all opportunities, since it is natural ultra.

The white nail polish is usually associated with the periphery of the finger, but there are substitute, which look also very attractively. A Diet eat, which consists of the 50% fruit and raw vegetable, in order essential vitamins, minerals as well as enzymes to supply. The food eats which in the sulfur and silicone, fish and bulbs are rich. _ the hand with cold free water wash and finger with a soft cloth then wipe off. Nail Thinner uses orange nail for sticking and cotton for clean which is immersed into antiseptic lotion. Nail lacquer thinner can be used, in order to dilute nail polish, which became too thick. The polishing agent in the refrigerating chamber hold, in order to form it last longer. Nails keep good, and polishing agents do not carry, in order to work. Vitamin B particularly B5: Importantly for healthy skin and nails.

Care for hands and drive pin tips

1. For washing your hands, dry grope and, if damp, humidity cream on the hands, which cuticles and the nails use.
2. Nail polish looks after your nail against marks, physical trauma as well as appears as a barrier to the chemicals
3. Do not make use of too Polish Remover.
4. Avoid using sharp instruments less than nails. They could break the nail, around connection to skin
