Wearing high heels can make you stand so that your legs looks slimmer, your stomach is flatter, and your femininity is unstoppable. It can also do wonders for your stride, but walking in high heels is not a natural talent–it’s learned skill, perfected by practice and discipline.

Tips:

If high heels are not your thing, or if this is the first time you’ll be walking a lot in high heels, you may want to consider “working your way up” to the heel height you’d like to be wearing. Start with a lower heel than the high heels you’ll be wearing on the day or evening of the event, and practice walking in them first, using the above steps as you work your way up through to higher heels.

Consider starting out with a chunkier high heel, as opposed to a stiletto. If the high heels you’ll eventually be walking in have a thinner heel, you can at least adjust first to the “added height” element before adding balance to the equation.

If possible try to limit the number of obstacles in the first high heels you’ll be wearing – for example, a pair of high heels with rounded toes will probably be more comfortable than pointy-toed shoes, and you can concentrate more on walking gracefully in high heels if your toes aren’t being pinched together.

Try at first to avoid backless, or extremely flimsy high heels. Opting for a pump, or a sandal with an ankle strap will add support for your ankles, and will definitely help in your attempt to walk in high heels.

Don’t shoe shop with swollen feet — e.g., when it’s hot or right after exercise

Fast dancing in high heels can be extremely dangerous, and should be avoided. But don’t think it’s okay to simply throw off your shoes and head barefoot onto the dance floor. This can be equally or more dangerous if you were to step on broken glass, or have someone else’s spiked heel come down squarely on the top of your foot. If you have a chance to remove high heels before dancing, do! When clubbing, opt for a lower heeled shoe that you can dance safely in – or go to the club, and don’t dance.

Focus on one step at a time.

Buy a quality pair of shoes. Shoes in the $50 and up range will last longer and be better for your feet. Some brands make shoes with a sturdier heel spike and padded insole. If you are looking for shoes to dance in, check with your local dance instruction school for recommendations on stylish shoes that are designed for dancing.

Change heel heights several times a day. Feet and legs shouldn’t be allowed to mold themselves to any one shoe shape.

common concern among new mothers is how to get rid of their jelly bellies and regain flatter, more toned stomachs. For some women, re-strengthening their core seems an easy task, but for most it is an uphill battle that takes many months, even years. With proper exercise and diet the process is not as hard as many think. In fact, depending on your delivery method, there are specific exercises you can do to speed up your body’s recovery.

Many people were astounded when Kate Hudson lost 60 pounds in the few short months after having her son. By most people’s standards, this was exceptionally fast. By Hollywood standards, this was normal. If you’ve ever wondered why the Hollywood stars manage to lose their baby weight so quickly, it’s because they exercised before and during their pregnancies. Plus, they’re pretty conscious about what they eat. Of course, it also doesn’t hurt that they can afford nannies to watch their children while they exercise and personal trainers to get them to the gym seven days a week for two hours each and every day.

It’s All About Exercise
For us mere regular people who have to deal with families, jobs or the responsibilities of being a stay at home mom and new children, postpartum weight loss may not be so easy. While you might not have enjoyed dragging yourself to the gym throughout your pregnancy, you’ll be happy that you did once you start trying to exercise after the pregnancy.

Stick to a Routine
To make the most of your postnatal fitness, try to set up a routine that you can stick to. Establishing a schedule will help maintain regular workouts that fit into your everyday life. Also, try to workout at least three times a week for at least 30 minutes each time. If you are determined to lose your weight quickly, then exercise more often. However, never exercise to the point of exhaustion. If your body is telling you it’s tired, stop exercising immediately.

When Can I Start Exercising?
So, when should you start working out again? Generally, it is recommended that women wait about six weeks to start exercising after they have given birth; eight weeks if they have had a cesarean. However, some women can start exercising before this. Listen to your body and wait until you feel ready. When you decide to start an exercise program, discuss it with your health care provider first.

Start Stretching Right Away
If you had a normal, uncomplicated birth, though, you can start doing little exercises as early as the day after you give birth. But these should be very simple, non-stressful exercises, like leg stretches. You should also continue with your Kegel exercises to strengthen you pelvic floor muscles. If you’ve had a cesarean, it is best to wait until you’ve stopped bleeding and your health care provider has given you the green light before you start doing any form of postnatal exercises.

Advice For Breastfeeding Moms
If you are breastfeeding, there are a few things you should keep in mind when you’re exercising. First, make sure your breasts are well supported when you exercise. Some women may find that they need to wear two bras just to feel properly supported. Also, try to breastfeed your baby before you exercise. This will help you feel more comfortable since your breasts won’t feel full.

Go For A Walk It is important to get a cardiovascular workout since this will help you burn off the baby fat. One of the best forms of exercise, especially for new moms, is walking. Walking is a great way to get some fresh air, tone your legs and improve your over-all health. In fact, it’s one of the best exercises around – and it doesn’t even require special equipment. All you need is a good pair of shoes, fine weather and your baby, of course!

Sample Exercises
Here are some exercises that you should be sure to include in your fitness program to help get your stomach flatter, your vaginal muscles tighter and your body back to its old self.

Stomach Exercises Your tummy is probably the area of your body that you are most worried about getting back to its pre-pregnancy shape. Sit-ups are the best exercise for your abdominals to get them into shape quickly. When you are doing sit-ups, make sure you have a mat underneath you. Also, keep the small of your back (the part that arches) in contact with the floor at all times.

To work your upper abdominal muscles, lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet on the floor. You could also put your feet on a chair so that your legs are at a 90-degree angle. Place your hands behind your head. Slowly, inhale and lift your head and shoulders up, off the ground while you contract your abdominal muscles. Lift until you feel your muscles working; you don’t need to go all the way up to a sitting position. Then slowly lower your upper body back down while you exhale.

To work your lower abdominal muscles, you can do a reverse crunch. Again, start by lying on the floor with your legs bent, but this time keep your feet close to your buttocks, slightly above the floor. Inhale while you slowly raise your hips and pelvis up towards you so that your buttocks rise up off the floor. Your knees should curl in towards you. Exhale and lower slowly back down. For both tummy exercises, you should try to do two to three sets of 10 to 12 repetitions.

Kegel Exercises If you have been doing these exercises throughout your pregnancy, then keep doing what you’ve been doing. For those women who did not do any Kegel exercises, you will want to start because they help to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles. It is recommended to do them during pregnancy because it can help make labor easier.

However, there are benefits to having strong pelvic floor muscles even if you’re not pregnant. Kegel exercises can help you with bladder control and can even help make your orgasms better. Plus, Kegel exercises are incredibly simple and can be done anywhere, anytime. To do them, you just need to contract your vaginal muscles as if you were trying to stop the flow of urine. Hold the contraction for a few seconds then slowly release. Aim to hold the contraction for 10 seconds (you might have to work up to this) and try to do about 25 a day.

The Many Benefits of Exercise
Losing your pregnancy weight is not the only benefit to exercising postpartum. Just as in your pregnancy, postnatal fitness can help ease a host of discomforts simply by increasing your circulation. Exercise can also help with any postpartum depression you might be experiencing. Plus, if you maintain your exercise, you will be providing your children with an excellent example of how to stay healthy. To maximize the benefits of your exercise, try to stick to a well-balanced, healthy diet. And remember, whenever you work out, always drink plenty of water, warm-up and cool-down properly – and never exercise to the point of exhaustion.

As a new mom, one of the best things you can do for yourself and your baby is to eat a healthy diet.

Even though you may be in a hurry to lose those pregnancy pounds, regularly eating foods that boost energy for new moms will give you the stamina you need to be the best mom you can be. That’s because eating nutrient-rich foods at regular intervals throughout the day can maximize the little energy you probably have as a new mom.you make sure the following foods for new moms are a regular part of your diet.

Low-Fat Dairy Products

Whether you prefer yogurt, milk, or cheese, dairy products are an important part of healthy breastfeeding. In addition to providing protein, B vitamins, and vitamin D, dairy products are one of the best sources of calcium. If you’re breastfeeding, your milk is loaded with calcium to help your baby’s bones develop, so it’s important for you to eat enough calcium to meet your own needs. One way to do that is to include at least three cups of dairy each day as part of your diet.

Salmon

There’s no such thing as a perfect food. But salmon is pretty close when it comes to a nutritional powerhouse for new moms. One of the best breastfeeding foods out there, salmon, like other fatty fish, is loaded with a type of fat called DHA. DHA is crucial to the development of your baby’s nervous system. All breast milk contains DHA, but levels of this essential nutrient are higher in the milk of women who get more DHA from their diets.

Oranges

Portable and nutritious, oranges are a great food to boost energy for new moms. Because nursing moms need even more vitamin C than pregnant women, oranges and other citrus fruits are an excellent breastfeeding food, too. Can’t find time to sit down to a snack? Sip on some orange juice as you go about your day — you’ll get the vitamin C benefit and can even opt for calcium-fortified varieties to get even more benefit from your beverage.

Leafy Greens

The list of benefits you get from eating leafy green vegetables such as spinach, Swiss chard, and broccoli goes on and on. They’re filled with vitamin A, which your baby needs to get from your breast milk. They’re a non-dairy source of dietary calcium. They’ve got vitamin C and iron. On top of that, green veggies are filled with heart-healthy antioxidants, they’re low calorie, and they’re tasty to boot.

Eggs

Egg yolk is one of the few natural sources of vitamin D — an essential nutrient to keep your bones strong and help your baby’s bones grow. Beyond that, eggs are a versatile way to meet your daily protein needs. Try scrambling up a couple of eggs for breakfast, tossing a hard-boiled egg or two on your lunchtime salad, or having an omelet and salad for dinner. As part of your diet, you might even opt for DHA-fortified eggs to increase the level of this essential fatty acid in your milk.

Brown Rice

If you’re attempting to lose the baby weight, you might be tempted to drastically cut back on your carbohydrate consumption. But losing weight too quickly may cause you to produce less milk for the baby and leave you feeling lethargic and sluggish. It’s better to incorporate healthy, whole-grain carbs like brown rice in your diet to keep your energy levels up. And foods like brown rice provide your body the calories it needs to produce the best quality milk for your baby.

Water

Dehydration is one of the biggest energy drains there is. And new moms who are breastfeeding are especially at risk. To keep your energy levels and milk production up, make sure you stay well hydrated. You can vary your options and meet some of your fluid requirements by drinking juice and milk, but be careful when it comes to caffeinated drinks like coffee or tea. Keep your intake to no more than 2-3 cups a day or switch to decaffeinated varieties. That’s because caffeine enters your breast milk and can cause your baby to become irritable and sleep poorly.

Pregnancy weight needs careful attention as it influences the health of the mother as well as that of the child. It is a proven fact that the weight of a woman has a significant impact on her chances to get pregnant. Underweight as well as overweight women have fewer chances for pregnancy as the fertility of a woman is influenced by her weight.

Underweight women run the risk of delivering smaller babies as well as pre-term babies. Low birth weight babies have a higher rate of mortality than normal babies. These babies have a higher chance for developmental disorders and suffer ill health frequently. Overweight women run the risk of developing complications such as diabetes, hypertension, hemorrhage, difficult labor, varicose veins, backache, extreme tiredness, and have an increased chance for neural tube defect in the fetus.

The weight gained during pregnancy is inevitable whether you like it or not, and it holds a lot of importance when it comes to a baby’s growth and development. When right amount of weight is gained during pregnancy, it can not only help to support your baby’s health but also make the weight loss process easier after delivery. However the amount of weight you need to gain depends on many factors like your body mass index, your health and your pre-pregnancy weight

How much weight gain is “normal” during pregnancy?

How much weight you should expect to gain during pregnancy varies depending on your pre-pregnancy weight. For example, pregnant women who had a “normal” weight before pregnancy (or for those with a BMI of 18.5 – 24.9), the recommended weight gain during pregnancy is anywhere from 25-35 pounds.

On the other hand, women who are underweight prior to conception may gain up to 40 pounds. This is especially important since underweight women stand to pose the greatest health risks to their babies.

Finally, women who are overweight should gain a maximum of 25 pounds. However, if you have been diagnosed as clinically obese, then it is recommended your pregnancy weight not exceed 15 pounds.

Of course, the amount of weight gain that is considered normal increases substantially for those carrying twins or multiple babies. In this case, the amount of recommended weight gain increases to about 45 pounds, depending on your pre-pregnancy weight and the amount of babies you are carrying.

In terms of when this weight gain will occur on a week-by-week basis, you should expect to gain about 5 pounds before you are 12 weeks pregnant. After that, you can expect a steady weight gain of about 1-2 pounds a week right up until the birth your baby.

However, how much weight you gain and how often you put on extra weight during pregnancy may vary for a variety of reasons. Being in regular contact with your doctor during pregnancy will help you to be sure what amount is right for you

What is the weight made up of?

On average, weight gained during pregnancy is due to the following factors:

Your baby: 6-8 pounds (by the end of the pregnancy)

The placenta: 1.5 pounds

Increased fluid volume: 2-3 pounds

Uterus: 2 pounds

Increased storage of maternal fats, proteins and other nutrients: 4-6 pounds

Breast enlargement: 1-2 pounds

Blood volume: 3-4 pounds

Amniotic fluid: 2 pounds

Can unnecessary weight gain be prevented?

While a little extra weight is necessary for a healthy pregnancy, how to gain weight (fragment). One of the best methods is to eat a healthy pregnancy dietfull of whole grains, fruits and vegetables as well as lean proteins and dairy products, which will help you and your baby get the nutrients you need.

And don’t be afraid to exercise! Regular, moderate exercise, including yoga, swimming and walking are great ways to keep yourself in shape and make post-pregnancy weight loss that much easier! Of course, you should always consult with your doctor regarding what types of food and fitness regimens are best for you.

What is the weight made up of?

On average, weight gained during pregnancy is due to the following factors:

Meals to Control Your Weight Gain

It is therefore important to eat nutritious and balanced meals that help to maintain your weight gain during pregnancy. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, foods rich in iron, folic acid, calcium, vitamin b etc. Doctors usually recommend supplements of folic acid and multi-vitamins to ensure the healthy development of the baby. Do not eat junk food catering to your taste but choose foods wisely, foods that are nourishing and satisfying. Be sure to watch out for the list of foods that you have to avoid such as undercooked meat and eggs, soft cheese, raw fish etc.

There are various ways of communication. These can be in writing or by word of mouth or body language. Often people who meet for the first time, or even if they have had only a few meetings, are not very verbal. Here body language plays an important role in communicating. The signals are often strong and clear for anyone to understand.

Men and women tend to display different types of body language. However, everyone provides non-verbal clues if you just learn how to read them. Attraction and body language go hand-in-hand in forming good communication skills.

Eye contact is the signal of not only expression of interest but also of acceptance. If you find someone looking at you directly or through the corner of the eye, be assured of interest. Respond with a brief eye contact followed by looking down. Smile associated with eye contact is a strong signal of interest in the other person. Your acceptance can also be judged by the way the other person looks, at you even if from another room. Repeated looking and gazing away, along with blushing means interest.Verbal talk with a person for the first time will not give you that clear a signal as body language will. By actions and expressions you can easily judge the response.

Position of the body is helpful to understand others. Person interested in you will face you directly. If due to some reason he is unable to do so, the body will be angled towards you. Dilation of pupils is another sign of expression of interest. Expert sales-man can judge the interest of customer from eyes. These are not intended but subconscious.

While engaged in conversation things like open palm facing upwards, playing with hair, swirling around fingers etc., reflects expression of interest of women. Similarly, men will play with tie, shirt button or wipe the face while standing straight will be expression of interest. When in sitting position, direction of knees and legs are strong signals, open legs give positive signals whereas crossed legs or arms, or hands stuffed in pocket give signal of uneasiness.

Other signals of interest can be tilting of head to one side while listening, licking of lips, biting of lower lip, touch looking unintended at safe parts, and imitation are sure signals of liking.

It is not very easy to judge the other person at one go. Development of judgement will take quite some time and effort. Being in a different state of mind those looking for love may make mistakes in judgement of interest from body language, they should exercise caution and arrive at a conclusion only after understanding body language associated with verbal communication.

It’s funny, but people who appear ready to bite your head off are not very endearing. Rejection is common and hard enough as it is. You certainly do not need to be who always finds it.

Pay attention and you will learn of these signs a little later on.

Everyone is attracted to confident body language.

Both men and women are attracted to people who display confident body language.

No one would want to date someone who portrays a very low self-esteem and a poor self-image.

Certain non-verbal gestures will make a person appear much more confident. Everything from posture and the way they shake hands to the way they look at a person or place their hands can reveal their level of confidence.

Think back to high school dances…

Remember that shy boy or girl standing awkwardly in the corner? The boy who always kept his hands stuffed firmly in his pockets or the girl who stared down at the tile floor all night. The unfortunate individuals we always referred to as “wallpapers”.

Why do you think they were never asked to dance?

Because they were not displaying confident body language or even good communication skills.

You can learn to increase your chances of success with the opposite sex by learning more about confident body gestures.

Men and women display different types of body language:

Both men and women use body language to signal when they are interested.Males and females perform certain gestures that make it easy for members of the opposite sex to determine their interest. Attraction and body language plays an important role for both genders. However, men and women often use different gestures and signals. Male body language involves certain dominant body gestures. The history of this type of body language dates back to ancient times. For millions of years, men have been regarded as the “hunter”.Men had the responsibility of protecting the women from harm. They had to assert control and establish their territory to ensure the survival of their species.Female body language is normally much more submissive. A woman’s body language provides a non-verbal way to say “Don’t worry, it’s safe to approach me. I won’t resist you.”Her language reflects a time when females needed to choose the best possible mate to father their children and ensure continuation of the species.Obviously, times have changed greatly. However, much of the male and female body language is still rooted in those ancient traditions! The next time you want to show someone you are interested, remember the important connection between attraction and body language.Learn to use confident body language that will increase your chances of success with the opposite sex.You also need to recognize the various signals that men and women use to reveal whether they are interested.

Just as a woman’s body undergoes various changes during pregnancy and after giving birth, many women often notice significant facial changes, too. In addition to the requisite “puffiness” resulting from water retention and weight gain, many women experience new symptoms, such as acne, dryness and discoloration. While some people say that pregnant women glow, most pregnant women feel down about themselves at some point during their pregnancy. It is not easy to gain 20, 30 or 40 pounds and to try to continue to feel sexy and beautiful with this extra weight. Here are some tips for feeling beautiful during pregnancy and keeping that glow throughout the nine months.

It is no secret that while pregnancy, woman’s organism withstands heavy duty, and it influences woman’s appearance not always the best way.Pregnancy is nine months long and with proper preparation many of the ordinary discomforts and beauty problems of pregnancy can be avoided, giving a feeling of well being and great satisfaction. The inevitable result of bearing a child is that the infant draws upon the mother’s reserves, thus making her undernourished, sickly and pale. To avoid this eat a nourishing diet. If the daily supplies of food are sufficient, the bones, teeth, hair, eyes, skin and the mother’s other reserves will not be drawn upon and the infant will be properly supported on ‘income’ and not on mother’s ‘capital’.

A pregnant woman should daily take: at least four cups of milk; two or more fruits, one of which should be citrus; two or more vegetables, one of which should be deep green or yellow; one dish of potatoes;. one or more eggs; 250 gram or more of either meat, fish or poultry; three to four servings of either whole grain or bread; four tablespoons of butter; one multivitamin tablet; two calcium tablets and one fish liver oil capsule.

The food mentioned above will provide for the maintenance of the mother’s body with enough extra to take care of the tissue growth of the infant, enough calcium and vitamin D for basic development and enough iron to prevent anemia in the mother and to supply all the needs of the infant.

Constipation is a very common problem during pregnancy and, if not checked, it gives rise to a number of embarrassing skin blemishes. To cure it drink at least eight glasses of water every day. Besides, include laxative fruits like figs, punt’s and beetroot in your daily diet.

As the abdomen becomes larger, the skin stretches. Fibres of the connective tissue immediately underlying the skin separate and give rise to white stretch marks. To avoid these, it is always wise to massage the abdomen and the breasts regularly with oil from the first month of pregnancy right to the last and even after deliveryfor a few months at least. On no account scratch the abdomen and the breasts, because this will leave scratch marks for ever afterwards on the skin. If you feel very itchy, gently very gently rub the skin with your hands.

If you are planning on breast feeding your baby, you should begin preparing your nipples from the sixth month onwards. Once everyday, draw out each nipple by gently pressing your thumb and index finger down on either side of the nipples and gently rolling the nipple out. After your nipple stands out, massage it well with little olive oil. Nursing will not cause your breasts to become flabby, if you wear well-fitting brassier. Buy yourself a few maternity dresses, which today come in many attractive designs and shapes. Do not forget that a large ‘percentage’ of attractiveness is accounted for by good grooming and good posture. The clothes should be comfortable and well fitting with allowances for future expansion. Also discard high heeled shoes and wear comfortable low heeled flat shoes.

Towards the later months many women develop varicose veins. Varicose veins is a disease in which the veins become very enlarged and protrude out of the skin. Varicose veins mostly develop in the legs. The women who develop this condition are the ones whose occupation requires standing or sitting for long periods.

It is wise that during pregnancy, you do as much of your work as possible in a sitting position with your feet propped up.When you have to be on your feet, it is better to move around than to stand still. If you develop this condition, wear plastic stockings before you get up from your bed. Report your condition immediately to your doctor. Besides, you should lie down at least once every day for at least one hour in a body slant position.

Sometimes swelling of legs, ankles, feet, fingersand face too-may appear during the last months. The cause of swelling is the retention of water in the tissue spaces of the body; a high intake of salt favors the retention of water, which is why you should eliminate or use very little salt in your diet and reduce the intake of liquids.

The pressure of the body on the large blood vessels in the later months may give rise occasionally to bouts of light headedness and sometimes fainting. If this occurs, you will feel better if you lie down for a few minutes. Also increase your intake of iron.

Sometimes your sleep maybe interrupted by hard muscular cramps in the calves of your legs. Massage the cramped area vigorously and apply hot water bottle or heating pad to the area.

Heartburn and flatulence are the other common disturbances of pregnancy. Heartburn is a kind of burning feeling which is noted at the lower end of the breast bonetherefore, the name Heartburn. To prevent this eat smaller meals at regular intervals rather then the bigger ones. To prevent flatulence or the formation of gas in the body, eat light and nourishing foods rather than rich and heavy foods.

Proper care of the skin and hair is specially important during pregnancy. A daily bath with a mild fragrant soap is a must. Clean your skin both morning and night with milk cream to which a little lime juice and turmeric powder has been added. Every morning before you go in for your bath take a teaspoon of curd and mix in a few drops each of almond oil and essence of rose. Rub it well into the skin and remove with cotton wool. This will soothe and feed the skin.

For the night make this skin food to four tablespoons of cream of milk add one tablespoon each of almond oil, cucumber juice, honey, rose water and lime juice. Mix well and put in a small jar and store either in the fridge or a cool, dry place. Apply every night before going to bed. Remove in the morning with a piece of cotton wool, then splash on cold water. This will put a bloom on your cheeks and sparkle in your complexion.

The way to choose clothes and shoes

Women often consider that clothes are a minor question for a pregnant woman, especially at home. This is not quite right. A well-dressed woman has higher vitality, as she can overcome her pregnancy easier, being in good mood. At the same time, clothes should correspond to the state of her organism, it’s necessary for a dress to be loose, light, appropriate to a season and not restraining movement. Bras should correspond to your size, not squeezing cheats and shoulders. It’s more preferable to wear cotton underwear. If outer clothing is loose and not squeezing your waist, it will hide an increasing belly and make you more elegant. The bigger your belly is, the stronger muscles of front abdominal wall stretch, and because of a belly lowering, fetus position in uterus changes. To prevent such complications, it’s recommended to wear a special belt – bandage that serves as an additional support for your belly and uterus. Moreover, it helps to keep correct bearing and slenderness. Put bandage on while you’re lying and lace it up according to your belly volume. It’s not desirable to wear pants with tight garters that squeeze your body. But you can wear loose comfortable trousers, shorts, tights.Tension of leg muscles becomes stronger and load on joints increases, when you wear high-heels. As a result, you get overfatigue. It’s necessary to wear shoes on low wide heel, to reduce the loud on front part of feet and obtain better steadiness.Don’t worry your figure has changed its form during pregnancy. Try to wear fashionable and beautiful clothes, of course, minding your state. Moreover, today being pregnant means being fashionable, clothes strive to accentuate woman’s special condition, as never before. There’re collections of beautiful and fashionable clothes for pregnant women in many shops. So, it’s quite time to go shopping and give yourself a treat buying some elegant fashionable pregnancy dresses

Research has proved that working women have extra nutritional needs. Women who have full-time jobs and have a family are always under pressure of staying ahead of the game in a competitive work environment and trying to balance home and office and do well at both.Does your husband lend you a hand in doing household activities or looking after children? It helps. Some diseases like anxiety, depression, osteoporosis are more common in women.

Easy Diet Tips for Working Women

Making healthy eating a part of your life can be a tricky challenge, if you are a working woman with demanding personal and professional commitments. It’s a similar story for many women- leaving for work with a cup of coffee hurriedly had with some biscuits or jam and toast, another two cups of coffee or tea at office, lunch that’s usually eaten out with friends or clients or some sandwiches or puffs from a fast food outlet.Al l this leaves working women with very little time to look after themselves outside the usual neat and attractive looks she puts together for work. What these working women require is take one day per week and reserve some time for beautifying themselves. Take a Sunday, when everyone has a holiday, and leave it exclusively for you! Rest, relax and beautify yourself and see what a difference it will make the next day.

Some easy diet tips for working women might help them in their endeavors. Never skip your breakfast. Eat a fiber rich breakfast so as to increase the metabolic rate of your body. Snacking is important to keep the blood sugar in control. Eat small portions and more frequent meals along with lots of water. Move around while in the office. Do some form of physical exercise on weekends and during holidays. Just make sure you drink low-fat or skim milk, or you’ll be packing on extra fat and calories. you can add fiber to your meals without drastically changing your daily caloric intake. Do not lie or omit foods that you eat; the journal is only for you and your benefit. Park in the back of the parking lot, take the stairs instead of the elevator, or go for a walk on your lunch break.

A light breakfast is advised. A few dry fruits in the mid day are good in case of hunger. Lunch can be a mixture of cereals, pulses, raw and cooked fresh vegetables. Snack can be sandwich without cheese and butter. Dinner can be a proper meal. This has to be consumed 2 hours before going to bed. Working women have a tougher task than men. Prepare meals ahead of time and have them ready to pop in the oven or microwave, OR have diet meals delivered directly to your door. Make double or triple batches of food. Buy lots of fruit and when you arrive home from shopping. Drink lots of water; ideally about two liters of water daily. Take the stairs when possibleNot only are working women pressed for time, juggling between domestic chores and work schedules; they usually find it difficult to squeeze in the time for indulging themselves in a well deserved skin care regime. Skin care know-how, prevention and maintenance is all that is required in order to maintain healthy skin. In fact, working women need to take extra care since they are subjected to environmental stress.

hCG diet is specifically a craze among women, and it was bound to be one as women are more conscious about their physique and weight. Exercise is a hard and slow way to lose weight, and so many simple techniques were formulated by dietitians and researchers to facilitate quick weight loss. One such fad diet being the hCG diet. When women undergo menstruation, a lot of hormonal changes occur in the body, one of them being the increased levels of the hormone progesterone. The effect of hCG to burn fat fails due to the increased progesterone level, so it has been recommended by the hCG weight loss experts to stop the intake of the hCG supplements during periods. The woman can continue with the diet during periods, and the weight loss doesn’t stop. The primary aim of the injections is to help the person control the hunger pangs, so a menstruating woman might experience some hard moments in controlling the hunger pangs. hCG experts recommend that a woman must start the intake of hCG hormone supplements immediately after the periods are gone. If the hCG diet (the hCG supplements) are continued during the menstruation period, it may cause the following side effects.hCG Diet Side Effects on Menstrual Cycle

Irregular Periods: A slight delay in the periods is a cause of headache! And with the hCG injections and supplements, the headache turns severe. There is an increased probability of the menstrual cycle going haywire. You may get an early or a late period.

Flow Changes: A proper blood flow is very important in the menstrual cycle, and the hCG hormone may affect the blood flow. The flow may get disrupted, with you experiencing a heavy flow or light flow.

Other Side Effects: The other side effects of hCG during menstruation include, rash and cramps.

So it’s always better to avoid the hCG supplements during periods, rather than experience the side effects. I would also recommend that you consult your dietitian to determine the best course of action during the menstrual cycle. As the side effects are not so serious, many women tend to continue with the supplements, but this is the worst thing to do. The side effects may get serious with time, so it is better that you take steps under your doctor’s guidance.

Few FAQs Regarding hCG Diet & Effects

Question

If I get pregnant while on the HCG drops can I continue using them? Will it affect the baby in any negative ways? Also can I get a false positive pregnancy test because of the HCG drops in my system? Thank you so much for your help!

Answer

If you are truly pregnant, then you should discontinue use of the drops. It will not hurt your baby, but your own body is generating excess amount of HCG on its own. You should discontinue the low calorie diet as well and follow your doctor’s recommendations

Question

I wanted to know what I should do if I tested your product with a pregnancy test and it came up negative. I was told that this was a good test to see if there was any HCG in it. My two tests were negative.

Answer

All homeopathic HCG products out on the market will always test negative. The succession process used in its manufacture is a process of mapping and dilution, so that you get the benefits without the side effects.

Question

Getting ready for my “time of the month” would this be part of the issue? Also do I continue the drops during this time? I have read both…

Answer

Your TOM will have an impact on your weight loss. Most women hold steady during that time and in some instances they gain…. but it all drops again at the end of the cycle. With homeopathic drops you do not need to stop taking them. You may experience a little heavier cycle, but that is normal while on the drops. Good luck and keep up the good work.

Question

How long do the drops stay in your system? I have not started my period and there is no reason to not start. Has anyone experienced this?

Answer

The drops will be expelled from your system within 72 hours from your last dose. As far your period is concerned, in most women, it can cause a heavier period than normal. We have never encountered someone missing their period as a result of using HCG

To determine how much you should weigh (your ideal body weight) several factors should be considered, including age, muscle-fat ratio, height, sex, and bone density. Some say your Body Mass Index (BMI) is the ideal way to calculate whether your body weight is ideal. Others say BMI is faulty as it does not take into account muscle mass, and waist-hip ratio is better.

One person’s ideal body weight may be completely different from another’s. If you compare yourself to family and friends you risk either aiming too high if you are surrounded by obese or overweight people, or too low if everyone around you works as fashion models.

Our ideal weight chart includes many of the most common formulas and methods for calculating ideal weight. If you are interested in losing weight, you can use the weight zones shown in our charts (based on your BMI or Body Mass Index) as a guide for choosing your target weight. But, keep in mind that there are many different methods for estimating your ideal weight, and many factors besides height and gender that ought to be taken into account, such as frame size, age, and muscle tone. You may also want to check out our new Weight Loss Charts or BMI chart.

Many of the ideal weight charts you will find on the internet don’t list what formulas they are using to create the weight chart.

Ideal Weight Chart Formulas

The three most popular formulas for calculating ideal weight are the Devine, Miller and Robinson formulas[3]. The above weight charts and the spreadsheet includes all of these formulas so you can see the differences. They are primarily used for calculating medication dosages, and they don’t account for age, frame size, muscle tone, etc. See the references below for more information about these formulas.

Another method for finding a range for your ideal weight is to use the “Normal Weight” range determined by the standard Body Mass Index range of 18.5 – 25 [1]. The body mass index is only based on height and is calculated the same both both men and women. You can use our online BMI Calculator, but the one included in the spreadsheet also includes the Devine, Robinson, and Miller formulas. It is important to note that BMI for children is not calculated the same was as for adults.

In the Ideal Weight Calculator included in the above spreadsheet, you will find two separate tables defining what BMI value is used to define Overweight. The standard value defined by the CDC[1] is 25 for both Men and Women. I prefer to use the NHANES II[2] definition which defines Marginally Overweight as over 26.4 for Men and over 25.8 for Women.

Summary of Ideal Weight Formulas

Listed below are the formulas we used to calculate weight in pounds W[lb] given height in inches H[in]. Multiple the weight in pounds by 0.45359237 to get weight in kilograms.

BMI Formula
W[lb] = ( BMI * H[in]^2 ) / 703

Devine Formula
Men: W[lb] = 110 + 5.06 * ( H[in]-60 )
Women: W[lb] = 100.1 + 5.06 * ( H[in]-60 )

Robinson Formula
Men: W[lb] = 114.4 + 4.18*(H[in]-60)
Women: W[lb] = 107.8 + 3.74*(H[in]-60)

Miller Formula
Men: W[lb] = 123.64 + 3.10*(H[in]-60)
Women: W[lb] = 116.82 + 2.99*(H[in]-60

Luckily, achieving a totally natural-looking faux glow has never been easier. You won’t turn orange, stain your clothes (or your hands), or get burned — we promise.

Tanning at Home

The Good: It’s inexpensive (one bottle or tube will last you several applications) and convenient (slather it on in the privacy of your own home, whenever). Choose a tanner that’s a little lighter than you want to turn out and reapply every couple of days — building your color gradually keeps you in control and prevents any surprises (although you really should have known what you were getting into when you picked up that bottle of extra-super-mega-dark formula!).
The Bad: Even though self-tanners have improved 110% in the last few years, human error is still obstacle #1 when it comes to tanning at home. To prevent streaks, blotches, or missed spots, it doesn’t hurt to have your fiance or a friend give you a once-over before you declare yourself done or even have them help you with hard-to-reach spots. Be sure to follow the instructions when it comes to how long you need to hang out in the buff before you get dressed, too — you don’t want any tanner to rub off on your clothes.
When to Do It: Start building your tan about two weeks before your wedding date. You’ll need the extra time to fine-tune your technique and find the right hue for you.
Tanning Tips: Use a gentle body scrub in the shower first. Apply moisturizing lotion around the edges of your feet and between your toes, as well as on your elbows, knees, and hands (or wear rubber gloves to apply the tanner). It will provide a little bit of a barrier and keep these areas from soaking up too much of the formula. If you’re applying tanner to your face, the same principle applies: Carefully apply extra moisturizer in the corners of your nose, around your eyes, and at your hairline.

Spray Tanning

The Good: Quick and easy! You simply strip down, apply some lotion (just as described above for at-home tanning), step into a booth, and voila! One or two minutes later, you’re done. If you choose a spray with bronzer, you should be glowing already. If you picked the regular spray, in 4 to 12 hours you’ll look like you’re just back from a beach getaway.
The Bad: Anyone who’s seen the Friends episode with Ross’s tanning trauma might feel a little trepidation about spray tanning (and yes, the experience can be a little sci-fi). If you’ve never gone before, get to the salon at least 10 minutes before your appointment time so you can ask the technicians any questions you might have about what to do. Also, though you will be tan after one session, you’ll need to go back to deepen and maintain your color.
When to Do It: Start about a month before your wedding. You’ll need multiple visits to get the color you want, but you’ll want to wait a while between each one to see how well you like it and decide whether to go darker.
Tanning Tips: Before you step into the booth, apply lotion to body parts that shouldn’t get too dark just as you would at home (salons usually provide moisturizer). It’s especially important to rub it into your cuticles and on your fingertips to keep your nail beds from changing color. If you opt for a formula that includes a temporary bronzer, get the gym out of the way (sweat may make the color rub off onto clothing). To get the most out of your tan and let it fully develop, don’t shower or swim for at least 12 to 24 hours after your tanning session (if you can wait even longer, that’s better still).

Airbrush Tanning

The Good: A salon or spa technician sprays you with a fine mist of UV-free tanning solution. The color is custom-calibrated, so the technician can fine-tune your hue and even contour your muscles to give you a more defined look. This is also the best method for concealing stretch marks, scars, and cellulite. Getting an airbrush tan usually takes about 30 minutes and lasts 5 to 10 days.
The Bad: It’s not for the super-self-conscious (though it’s no more invasive than your average bikini wax). The technician has to get up close and personal, and you’ll have to strike several poses to make sure you’re covered. It’s also the most expensive method. While at-home airbrush tanners have started to hit the market, if you truly want a seamless glow you should still go to a pro.
When to Do It: Book your appointment for a few days before your wedding, or, if you think you’ll be too busy, one week before (then follow up with self-tanner to maintain your color). Since you’re paying big bucks for flawless application, you want to get it done when you can flaunt it.
Tanning Tips: If you’re headed for a spa, consider scheduling a body scrub before you tan. This mega-exfoliation makes your skin feel amazing, and it will help your tan last and last. Afterward, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize! Skin that’s fully hydrated will keep your tan intact.
