When the lens gets cloudy and your vision is disturbed, it’s the signs of cataract. A cataract is something that develops gradually and has some symptoms like you see the colors in a faded version, blurry or double vision, trouble seeing at night, halos do form around the lights, you just can’t see the bright lights, etc. It can happen in a single eye or both. Another thing called apple cider vinegar is packed with anti-oxidant properties, which are extremely rewarding for your health. If you take it regularly, it can repair your damaged lens. You can take a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of raw honey, add them into a glass of warm water and stir well until these are totally dissolved. Drink this mixture daily to reap in the maximum benefits. You can also use carrot juice instead of water to get more benefits.
- Essential Oils
You can also use essential oils like lavender or frankincense oils to repair your cataract problems because both hold the anti-oxidant properties. - Coconut Water

Its antioxidant properties help in repairing your vision, which is blurred by oxidative abuse.Take half teaspoon of ginger juice, the same quantity of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of water and a few cotton pads.Mix the ginger & lemon juice and add the 1 spoon of water to this mixture. Soak 2 cotton pads in them and place it on your eyelashes after closing the eyes. Don’t move an inch for 15 to 20 minutes. Then take them off and do this experiment for 1 or 2 times a day.You will be astonished to see the difference it makes on your vision after some days.
- Green Tea
Green tea is another product that is gaining popularity these days, as it has lots of polyphenols, which are great antioxidants. These polyphenols don’t let your eyes deteriorate further and are helpful in restoring the normalcy to your eyes, which are already injured by the oxidative stress. You must have green tea at least twice a day.
There are many other foods that can help in restoring your vision, and you can also have them before cataracts ambushes you, to dodge it, like Honey, Flaxseed oil, Lemon juice, Onion juice, Wheatgrass juice, olive oil etc. There are some other foods that you can have to avoid cataract like citrus fruits, green leafy veggies, papaya, guavas, bell peppers, carrots, sweet potato, kale, spinach, turnip etc. But better make sure that all these veggies & fruits are natural or organically grown ones.
